Oct 26, 2015  Download Vmware Fusion v8 0 1 MacOSX+Tools for OS X (darwin iso) 8 0 1&Unlocker for OSX 1 3 0 Torrent. 8.0.2 appears to be a significant update. WHereas 8.0.1 did not update VMWare Tools, 8.0.2 does update VMWare Tools. Just did a full clean install of Windows 10 Threshold 2 release ('Fall Update') which just came out today Nov 10, on Fusion 8.0.2. No problems at all.

  22. The package is a combination of the Unlocker code written by Zenith432 plus some
  23. scripts written by myself that wrap the actual unlocker code.
  24. It has been tested against:
  25. * Workstation 8/9/10 on Windows and Linux (32 & 64-bit versions)
  26. * Player 4/5/6 on Windows and Linux (32 & 64-bit versions)
  27. * Fusion 4/5/6 on Snow Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion
  28. The patch code carries out the following modifications dependent on the product
  29. * Fix vmware-vmx and derivatives to allow Mac OS X to boot
  30. * Fix vmwarebase .dll or .so to allow Apple to be selected during creation
  31. Note that not all products recognise the darwin.iso via install tools menu item.
  32. You will have to manually mount the darwin.iso for example on Workstation.
  33. Also Player is missing vmware-vmx-debug and vmware-vmx-stats files and so an
  34. error is shown during patching as the files are not found. This can be safely
  35. The vmwarebase code does not need to be patched on ESXi or OS X so you will see a
  36. message on those systems telling you that it will not be patched.
  37. In all cases make sure VMware is not running, and any background guests have

  39. On Windows you will need to either run cmd.exe as Administrator or using
  40. Explorer right click on the command file and select 'Run as administrator'.
  41. install.cmd - patches VMware and copies darwin.iso tools image to VMware
  42. uninstall.cmd - restores VMware and removes darwin.iso tools image from VMware
  43. 3. Linux
  44. On Linux you will need to be either root or use sudo to run the scripts.
  45. You may need to ensure the contents of the linux folder have execute permissions
  46. install.sh - patches VMware and copies darwin.iso tools image to VMware
  47. uninstall.sh - restores VMware and removes darwin.iso tools image from VMware
  48. 4. Mac OS X
  49. On Mac OS X you will need to be either root or use sudo to run the scripts.
  50. This is really only needed if you want to use client versions of Mac OS X.
  51. You may need to ensure the contents of the osx folder have execute permissions
  52. uninstall.sh - restores VMware
  53. 5. ESXi
  54. ESXi has to be patched using the scripts, as the unlocker is used to overlay
  55. the ESXi firmware at runtime. You will need to transfer the files to the
  56. Once uploaded you will need to either use the ESXi support console or use SSH to
  57. run the commands. Please note that you will need to reboot the host for the
  58. <<< WARNING: use a datastore volume to run the scripts >>>
  59. You may need to ensure the contents of the esxi folder have execute permissions
  60. uninstall.sh - restores VMware
  61. 6. Zenith432's Unlocker
  62. In all cases the unlocker can be run without the scripts but you would need to
  63. carry out additional actions which the scripts encapsulate for you especially on
  64. ESXi. If you want to run the unlocker directly the parameters are:
  65. Usage: ./Unlocker.Linux64 [-h] [-u] [target_directory]
  66. -u: remove the patch
  67. target_directory: customize location of vmx executables
  68. On all platforms you must run it with administrator or root privileges.
  69. The source code is provided and Zenith432 makes it freely available for
  70. modification. I have modified the code and it is available as per Zenith432's

  86. Just a word of CAUTION with running this script on ESX: DO NOT RUN THIS IN / as all of ./bin will be deleted & you'll need to re-install ESX! I did this by mistake & an currently re-installing. IMHO: the script for ESX should at least check & inform you before deleting /bin & suggest this be done.

  127. I have the same problem on esxi 5.1 running on amd system from usb flash drive. I'm wondering if enabler make it possible to run osx under vmware on amd or on intel only?

  130. As far as I know you can't run this on a ESXi USB stick, so we just have to wait.
  131. I did contact the author a good while back, and he said he would try to look into the issue when he had some time. So I'm just crossing my fingers that he has the time soon.

  140. Windows patch does *not* work for me, VMWare Workstation 10.0.0 build 1295980. The problem seems to be:
