Since updating to OS X 10.13.6 my MacBook Pro has been having issues. These issues have always been present, 13.6 just amplified them.

The issue is typified by the cursor freezing in place, or text input becoming.

Slow to wake - MacBook takes around 7 - 10 seconds to wake from sleep when pressing a keyboard button. Mac is in clamshell mode hooked to Thunderbolt display. Keyboard is wired USB.


Wifi interfering with Bluetooth connection is extremely bad now. I can use my magic track pad or keyboard just fine, come back 2 minutes later and they're unresponsive. Connecting them to the MacBook via USB reconnects them, but only as long as they're wired. The only way to get them to stay connected via Bluetooth at that point is to toggle wifi on / off. Then they will work fine again, but after a few hours this repeats.
